I have a 330i and I run 31 or 32 PSI (cold) all around with my Kumhos (17x8) or 34 (cold) all around with my street tires (S02 Pole Positions) when I track the car. If I have more than 33 pounds in my Kumhos, I'm riding on the center of the tread by the end of a 30-minute session (i.e., they're overinflated and the traction is gone). You want to be in the "sweet spot" of your tires when they're _hot_. For me that sweet spot is around 40 PSI, so I'd start them at least 4-5 pounds lower. I'm not an expert though and I may be wrong on this, but I know what does and doesn't work for my car and my driving.

Also, as someone else suggested, since this is your first track event, I'd dial in some understeer. I've done 16 track days (all in the last five months and all in my 330i) and I try for neutral steer and am not even thinking of dialing in oversteer for the forseeable future.
