I am looking to purchase a 330i new in the Bay Area, and have wasted the better part of two days this weekend negotiating with slimy salesguys. I was within $200 of an acceptable deal at Allison yesterday, but couln't get there (I'm looking to buy a car with MSRP of $40,455 for about $38,000, given the recent price and equipment changes). Do any of you have preferred dealers or salespeople in this area? BTW, my most distasteful experiences to date were with Claridge's (guys lied to me about inventory to get me to come across the bridge today), as well as Peter Pan (where they wouldn't honor the BMW finance 5.9% promotional rate because they need to gouge a bit more out of customers). Thanks for any assistance!
