330ci vs Cadillac Eldorado (archive)

The lease is coming up on my Lincoln and I was looking for something a little sportier. I have decided that I will either get a 330ci or a new Cadillac Eldorado. Both are excellent cars. I would give the edge in prestige and Engineering to Cadillac and the performance edge to BMW. The thing im worried about with the BMW is value. I know the Caddy will hold its value well but im not sure with the BMW. Im sure the BMW would be safer to drive. Ive owned many Lincolns and Caddys and I know American Engineering is the best in the world when it comes to cars and I dont know if the Germans can compete. If there is anybody that can give me some insight on what I should get it would be greatly apreciated.
