Hello all,
I have read many times before about the temp. gauge going to red when the car is idle. I tried finding this in the archive and cannot get anything that answers my question, so I'll just post it. I just picked up my car and noticed that when I'm idle, it begins to overheat, all the way to the end of the red gauge. Once I start moving, it goes down again. Is this a common problem and is my car actually overheating? If I turn on the heat and the fan full blast, it tends to go down a little. I'm taking it to the dealer but should I be concerned that it's really overheating?
