Hi, I think the NAV is really worth it. You may not use it every day but you know when you need it its there. It also pulls all the other add on features together. I have added the TV module already, and plan to get the CPT8000 whenever BMW gets it released. The CPT8000 will show caller ID on the nav screen, list your address book, and support web browsing on the nav screen depending on your phone service provider (CDMA only). The new nav disks are supposed to be greatly enhanced in the next quarter to tightly integrate with the phone for hotel phone numbers, and a lot more points of intrest. Along with the phone there will be a voice recognition unit avaliable which will allow you to control both the phone and nav unit. The new enhanced nav CD's are also supposed to support real-time traffic updates. This will probably require an add-on traffic receiver though. All in all, in my opinion, the nav unit pulls a lot of features into the avaliable column and is worth every penny. With the TV module you also get the option to add A/V input into your system and can add a second screen for the rear which will stay on while moving. Unfortunately this option only supports mono sound so its not really the answer for MP3. Laura I have used the nav system on the 540 and been impressed. Is the nav system for the 330 have the same capabilities? Is it worth it? The dealer says not to get it......
