although I'll stick with my steering wheel and add the alum trim to it.

this looks cool too....i almost did this.

I'm working on the FAQ and was wondering if you'd be willing to do a write up with pics on the install of the OEM pedals. Were you the one who had someone else install the pedals that posted earlier this week? Let me know or email me. TIA.

Well, I can write a short summary...no pix :(( other than the ones I already posted of the "after" type, since I do not have a digital camera (was at a relative's house when i did the install, who happened to have a camera) and to have pix, I should have taken pictures throughout the process.

For the 330, the gas pedal is slightly different than the 328. This necessitates a slight change from the steps indicated by the instructions included with the aluminum pedals, which are written with the 328 in mind. In fact, my parts supplier (Circle BMW) was so steadfast that the aluminum pedals would not work on the 330 that they cautioned that they were not compatible, and would not be eligible for a refund if I decided to buy them anyway.

Instead of removing the in-car gas pedal and using the replacement gas pedal (for 328s; wont work on 330), I left the gas pedal in the car and just did all the work in the car.

I also had to use longer bolts than the ones provided for use with the gas pedal....although others who have done the install on their 330i indicated that the included bolts worked just barely, in my setup, they did not protrude enough to attach the nut on the backend.

The brake pedal procedure was the same as described in the alum pedal instructions. I have a step, but assume that the clutch pedal would be the same as well.
