I'm getting lots of questions from a below post on my Nextel phone mount installation. I thought I would start it as a new thread.

1. Buy the BMW auxillary power adapter for $7, part number 82 11 0 004 073

Circle BMW Auxillary Adaptor

2. Visit a nextel dealer or www.nextel.com and buy the i1000+ phone MOUNT ONLY kit (assuming you have an i1000+). The base does not require any screwing and uses an adhesive to secure to the car. Unscrew the base and rotate it 90% and mount it to the side. Costs about $15

3. Buy an i1000+ aftermarket car phone charger for about $10-20 and plug it into the glovebox cig lighter (from the adapter in #1) and into the phone.

The speakerphone on the phone works well for handsfree. You can hear fine at 80MPH on the highway if the windows and moonroof is closed.

Works like a charm and doesn't look too bad either. No screws, no drilling, no disassembling anything and easy removal. Now if I could just figure a way to wire it into the steering wheels buttons. :-(
