Does anyone know for sure it's a Aux fan problem? or is it a combination of Aux fan and thermostat? My dealer said they are looking into it and might be replacing the thermostat or the aux fan (or the combination of both).

I'll post this again so it gets more exposure.

I had mine replaced last Friday after taking it in because I noticed it was getting warmer than normal. My dealership agreed to do it even though they couldnt get it to overheat on-site. Apparantly there is some kind of bulletin out there from BMWNA. good luck!
