Had my thermo replaced a few weeks ago because my '99 323 was running too cool....must have locked in the open position...I could barely get any heat.

I had mine replaced last Friday after taking it in because I noticed it was getting warmer than normal. My dealership agreed to do it even though they couldnt get it to overheat on-site. Apparantly there is some kind of bulletin out there from BMWNA. good luck!
