That's ridiculous. You tell them that it's not your problem the car is burning oil, and if they aren't supposed to top it up for free then there's no reason BMW would allow you to go so long without an oil change (because you'd be running dry by that time!). Tell them you're gonna be on the phone with BMWNA if they don't pull their shit together.
