Know any good hotels in Munich for ED? (m) (archive)

I'll be in Germany next week for ED, and I am looking for references for hotels/motels in Munich. I'm not looking for anything too special or expensive, as I don't plan to spend too much time in my room. Just a clean place and a safe part of town for the new baby (330xi). Preferably somewhere close to the parts of town near most of the sites that can be done by walking tours.

While, I am not exactly sure where we will be sleeping each night, I will also be in these cities, if you have further hotel/motel recommendations:
