Filming of "Show Time" (archive)

So I'm downtown LA today, working. As I am walking to my gym to work out, I walk by the filming of some new movie tentatively called "Show Time". I think its with Eddie Murphy and Robert Deniro (sp?). Anyway, the film crew has taken over Grand Ave and there are several shot up police cars (including one that is overturned), a shot up armored car and, right in the middle of it all, one prestine, perfectly shiny, untouched black 7-series. Wow! Beautiful. Just incredible!

Looking back on it, the whole thing is just a metaphor for how I see cars on the road. If it isn't a BMW, its just wreckage.
