I have a back issue of BMW CAR that features the Alpina B3 3.3. In the review they pointed out that the Michelin tires seem a little noisy and over-rubbered. ;)

I've never understood why people like Michelins so much, especially for what they cost. I've had friends with Pilot HX, MXX3, etc. on their cars and they've never been too happy with them.

I had RE730s on my current/old car, and they're pretty quiet, ride nicely, and grip pretty well. I still prefer Dunlop SP8000s overall, though.
