Has anyone tinkered with the audio system on a 3-series with navigation? Is there a stereo level audio in (I assume there is for the optional CD-Changer)?

I have a SONY 6-MiniDisc Changer which I desperately want to use on the BMW but there are no OEM converters for SONY only PIONEER. However, I have a FM Modulator that can control the unit, but it will still require a RCA-type audio input. Can I just use the audio input channel for the BMW CD-Changer for my changer and use the FM Modulator to control it? Listening via the radio just deteoriates the sound quality way too much.

Thanks!

Ben
