IMO, the OEM CD changer isn't worth 600 bucks. I got it installed at Custom Sound for 300. They said they used to do it for BMW too. The good thing is that you still control it from the steering wheels too.

Hello all. I recently purchased a 2000 328Ci, with the stock business radio (no CD). I have learned that you can get the appropriate parts from BMW and a new CD-changer (online), however, don't know where to turn for further info. I would like to side-mount the changer (as I hear this saves trunk space), and I don't have the navigation system.

I suppose what I need is the accurate part numbers (for everything but the CD-changer), and possibly some sites and estimates for the changer itself. I also understand that the changer is pretty easy to install myself.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sincerely,
Tony
