If it happens again the fastest fix is to take the 46 or the stockdale highway from Bakersfield, or just north of Bakersfield back to the 5. (It's an easy mistake to make cause you have to go right to go left up the 5. Basically, the next time you notice you are in Bakersfield you have missed the turn. If you catch it real fast you could take the 166 across before you get to Bakersfield. Once you get to Fresno the time is pretty much gone, although the 132 is a bit north to cut across. probably cost you about 90 minutes depending on how you drive, on the other hand, you got to see Manteca....lol
