It's good news because he wants the sport seats but thinks the suspension is too harsh. When he finds out BOTH cars had sport suspension, one having slightly different wheels, then he'll probably rething his dislike of sport suspension.

Both of us weren't interested in a coupe, it's just that the coupe was the only car with a standard transmission and a sport package. We're looking for the standard sedan (330i), since he's got the baby seat and I'm likely to get one soon.

Good news, how so? Your friend is going to get sports suspension regardless, which is a bad thing right? I believe the SP gives you staggered setup (17x7.5 front/17x8.5 rear), whereas the stock wheels are 17x7 all around.
