The 330 is an excellent alternative to the S4; it is almost dead even in terms of performance. The S4 is the only Audi car that I would consider right now as dead on competition to the 330, but there is the money factor. For the additional bones required for the S4, I'd be looking at going with the M3, which will blow that S4 off the road. As a result, I have decided to go with the 330 since I can't get into the M3 for several reasons right now. In a couple of years when the M3 may be easier to get as supply hopefully catches up to demand, then it may be time for an upgrade. Go with the 330 unless you have the money and the ability to get over the supply problem to get the new M3. If you end up with the S4, you'll still end up with some bimmers kicking your ass and you aren't going to like that.

I know this is the Bimma board, but more than that you are smart car lovers, so those of you with any crazy schmack to offer me as answers to this question can save it for your def comedy jam auditions! I am deciding between a 330xi and an S4, there are things I like about both of them, but I need some hard facts/evidence to tip the scales. What are your thoughts? Only those with real world experience with these rides need respond...no disrespect, just weeding out the random stuff.
Cheers,
PV
