F#CK! The first travesty! NOOOOOO! =( (archive)

I was sitting at our local coffee spot tonight with my girlfriend Tara and my friend Jason. Out of no where this f-ing guy on a bike rides past my car and I see him wobble a bit, and FALL INTO THE SIDE OF IT!!! I immediately got up and yelled "Dude did you just run into my fucking car?!" and he rode by, obviously trashed out of his mind, and said "YEAHH!" and took off!!

At this point I should have grabbed the asshole and beaten him down, but instead I went to the car and checked for damage. Well, there's a 2' scratch along the top of the rear driver's side door, and although it's only a score in the clearcoat (about 1/16" wide) the metal is DENTED the entire length of the fucking scratch!!

So I jump in the car and my g/f jumps in and we take off. She's on the phone w/ 911 reporting a hit and run while I'm attempting to see where this guy is. HE'S GONE OF COURSE. We try to locate him for about 10 minutes but nothing turns up.

I am so incredibly pissed off and upset right now I don't know what to do. I had the police come out but there's nothing they can do because it's not $1000 worth of damage, so there's no police report. Good thing I have a great insurance agent, I wonder how much this shit it gonna set me back.

FUCKING MORON DRUNKS!! And to think I garaged my car the entire weekend so this shit would NOT happen!!!! ARGGGGGGGGG.

Thanks for listening. I'll fill you all in as I figure out what I'm going to do. I'm pretty sure the scratch will come out w/ Meguiars Scratch-X or some compound, but the dents, the dents are killing me. I hope the ol' dry ice trick works.

Someone tell me I wasn't a complete fool for checking out the car before I went after the guy. PLEASE, that's killing me. I can't believe this happened. The car is 11 days old to me!! =(
