I would pay $500 for Xenons if I had to do it over again because I think a $40K should have them (luxury item), but I don't really need the extra luminosity and the potential inherent problems they have like uneven brightness and the cost of repairs. So, I don't miss them. Halogen is just fine for me. It has adequate brightness and they are cheap to replace.
