I had mine hit and run too once, but by a car. It only scratch around 1/2 of your scratch size though.
The bad news is i don't think Meguiars Scratch-X could do that much help, it seems to me a pretty deep scratch you got there (same like mine before). But if it works, that's really good. Sorry about the dent though, hard to remove them by yourself =(
I fix mine with toothpick and touch up paint. The result is not too bad, eventhough i still see the difference. But try scracth remover first before you go with touch up paint.
man, I hate when this thing happens.
