It's not that complicated (at least the ones I've taken) because they have to be able to be passed by an average, or less than average, citizen. I've always thought the tricky questions where the ones where they asked for specific numbers, such as exactly how many feet does it take to stop from 60 mph, with multiple choice answers. If you're familiar with BMW numbers, you may get it wrong. If you're not familiar with any numbers, you'll get it wrong almost for sure. (I remember surveys that have shown that people think they can stop in about 5 feet from any speed). Trouble is, they test will give choices like 120 ft, 140 ft, 160 ft, or 180 ft. And you get to guess what they were thinking.

The Washington test may or may not be a lot different from your state.
