First off I've been away from the board for acouple months so if this topic has been covered (I couldn't find it anywhere) point me in the right direction if you could.

My car had a build date of 11/30/00. I called BMWNA about the steering retro fit in mid May of this year. Was told my vehicle qualifies and will be getting a call to set something up. Just got a call acouple weeks ago from BMWNA telling me that my vehicle already has the steering part that they would be retro-fitting and thus does not need it.

This seems wrong as I've got extremely light steering compared to the loaner 2000 cars I've driven and according to the info i've gathered from this board. Does anyone know what dates are actually involved with this. Is BMW trying suddenly to save some money with it's implementation of the retro fit?

Any help is appreciated as I am slowly working my way up the BMWNA ladder with this.

Gabe
