Who would you recommend as being the best / more credible?

Well first off the inexpensive MODs are not that inexpensive and there is no cheap way to force induction a BMW.

Now my recommendations would be:

Dinan Stage II Software
Dinan Cold Air Intake or ECIS
AA Exhaust

Total power gain - roughly 17 HP

On the high end you can go with either ESS or AA (once their turbo kit is out). The ESS kits vary in price but your looking at 4-7 K installed. The ESS kit is VERY nice and is back by a two year/50000 mile warranty. I will infact be going the ESS route myself next year sometime.
