First, I never said anything about going to 18s. What I said is that I'm running 18s with tires even taller than his choice and it works fine.

I also didn't say he'd gain anything by going with the 235. Lastly, the person I said was wrong was the other poster, as you didn't say anything about 235/40s being the same, but the other person did.
