I'm not sure it's a good idea to run 38/36 psi, after all understeer is good for safety when you're more worried about learning the line than rotating the car faster in turns.
Definitely change the fluid if it's not a DOT4 fluid. Doesn't BMW use DOT4 for stock fluid though? You don't need ATE BLUE, just a DOT 4 (high temp) fluid I think.
Buy a helmet, if you want to save cash, buy an S2000, not SA2000 - which is not required by any schools yet.


Firstly, I'm going to be doing my first driving school in 2 weeks. Any advice or insight from guys/gals who've already done one?

Secondly, I'll need to change my brake fluid for this school. Any recommendations or are they all essentially the same?
