I found the same results with my gray leather. I used it about a year and then I had enough. We seemed to rub to much against the leather getting into the car. I felt it too tacky on the steering wheel too and got tired of the smell when the car heated up. I finally switched to Pinacle and really like this stuff. It is Lanolin based so it will cause the seats to be a little slicker, which I like, and gives a great new leather smell to the car. Doesn't give that dead cow smell like Lexol. The only problem I had was using too much and it caused some white residue to be left on the seats, but this wiped right off with a wet rag.

for the third time in 13 months. so far the leather looks and feals as good as new. I rub a little extra into the rear head rests and top of the seat back (where the sun beats down). it makes the car smell like new again (brings out that new leather smell). the only draw back is that the leather is a little tacky for a day or two after (even after buffing off the excess).

I treated the leather door panel inserts, the shift boot, the ebrake handle & boot as well as my "230" M3 wheel. BTW, lexol does NOT make the steering wheel slippery.
