Getting retrofit done in Houston, got a Z3(m) (archive)

Hey all, getting my steering retrofit done at Houston of BMW North. Got a 2001 Z3 2.5i as a loaner.....some impressions
1)Z3 has a much deeper exhaust than my 330ci. Prominent at all RPM's. Different exhaust system perphaps?
2) MUCH BETTER SHIFTER! The shifter in the Z3 is sooo much shorter! The Z3 and the 330ci use the same engines...what about transmissions? Hrrmm.....transmission retrofit?
3) Nice weekend car, but not sure if I could live with it everyday. Does attract a lot of attention though.

Anyone get the retrofit done in Houston?? Is a 4 wheel steering alignment required?
