I would gladly put a form-fitting (read this: aesthetically pleasing) plate in the front if the manufacturer put a place for it (they don't).

I think they are aerodynamically hideous, and a downright mess in a mild fender bender (the screws and hardware do hundreds of dollars of damage at 1 mph).

Relax. I will continue to take my changes and drive a "clean" (no ugly front plate) car.
