If I were you I'd fill out the form at the NHTSA web site--BMW is going to kill someone with a house fire after someone else's fan ingites . . .

yeah, i knew about the fan problem, but since I never got anything in the mail, and also someone had said that the late production cars will not have this problem, I did not think much of it. Plus, I have been in contact with the dealer alot since I got it, and they never mentioned anything.
