Just wondering is it good buy compared to the std edition?

Luxury (high quality linen-covered slipcase with quality metal stamping)

Standard

When I got my "beatles complete scores" it came in a high quality slip case (though not metal) and I have to say, since I've used the book a lot, it has held up extremely well.

I don't know how much of a premium the edition you cite will cost you, but if you're going to use the books a lot, I'd say it's a good bet (might help to retain their value as well)
