As far as I can remember you just remove the 2 screws from the arm rest, slide the door handle trim toward the back (or frontward) so that it pops off, and then the trim unit lifts up and off.
(assuming you have pulled it off all the clips around the outside lower part).

Be careful with the little tabs at the top - the ones that the metal brackets slip into - these tabs brake easily.
