Actually, the E39 with a 74mm hub center is a stand alone wheel fitment for BMW. The others big Bimmers, E24, E28, E31, E32, E34, E38, etc. have a common 72.5mm wheel hub center. Reference Service Information Bulletin 36 02 96.

: : Hello,

: : I was talking to a gentleman that wanted to buy my slightly used Hartge one piece 18". I know E39 18x8.5 fits the 95+ E38 7 series, the offset is okay, the tire size has to be bigger. However, will it fit the 8 series? Where can I go about to find the info. ?

: : Happy cruzing..

: With the introduction of the E38 and E39, BMW changed the center bore of the wheels. I suspect that the 8er wheels are interchangeable with E34 and E32 wheels.
