I'm in Texas, they're in Va. Had my brother
inspect vehicle and Fed-Ex pics.

Tried to purchase a 95 540 from them today.

I had faxed an offer stating my price range
and why I though it was reasonable. Presented
them a certificate of credit, offered to place
a deposit via credit card. I also asked them to
answer a couple questions and give me a selling
price. I grabbed my prices from Edmunds, KBB,
and Dallas/Houston prices I had seen. I had asked
questions about Nikasil Engine, maintenance history,
in service date. I felt I presented my self as a
legitimate buyer.

Too make a long story short. The sales representative
Shawn Russo?? called back a few hours later and asked to cut to the chase. Jumped right to the price issue. He quoted their "fixed" price, non-negotiable. "They must get a lot less for their cars in Texas." "We sell everything we get here for what we ask." "You should find something a little closer to home." "We don't need your business."

I said I was sorry they (he) had such an attitude.

He stated that "If that sounds a bit arrogant its
because we are the number one reseller of BMWs in
NA, and we can be........"

Sorry I wasted his time..............

Caveat Emptor with dealing with AutoAdvantage.
