I heard from a good source that there will be changes to the 4.4L V8 engines: They will also be getting double vanos variable valve timing - HP stays "the same" but torque is supposedly going to about 324 ft-lbs. Fuel economy is supposed to be improved as well, and the car will be ULEV (Ultra low emissions vehicle).

: Haven't personally seen a detailed spec sheet, but several 5er board postings spelled things out pretty well. You should be able to find them in the archives, but let me know if you can't.
