They guys at my dealer said that they could put a dash mounted radar, but said it was a lot of money and a $120 Passport Escort is as good(all bands x,k,L(front back), and all sorts of other features, and very small).

They hoocked me up by hard wiring the radar power to the moonroof power supply. They used the standard install of the device using suction cups and little mount to put the radar on the window right next to the rear view mirror to the passenger side. Very little power wire by moonroof controls plugs into radar. Very inconspicuous, radar works great, no dangling wires, all for about $160 dollars.

worked out pretty well. I'm not familiar with the dash mounted stuff though.

: What kind of radar?

: Joe

: : They are putting the standard BMW aero kit, tinting, and __RADAR__(give yourself a fighting chance) this weekend.
