let me just check that you have the "throwing star" rims that was on the 91-93 M5 right??? (not that somebody couldn'thave put them on afterward though)...i believe they made 200 (or was it 600) 1995 540i Sport edition as a last hurrah for the E34 (i am sure Viken B will correct me if i am wrong)
