the car I purchased is an automatic. For
insurance purposes, it isn't a sport model ;-).
But, it does accelerate like stink! And yes,
it does have the M5 "thrown star" wheels,
suspension, brakes, misc M badges, etc. This is
my first bimmer, and I LOVE the car!
Wow, only 7 autos? That's interesting. With the
3 shift modes, the auto is fun. Perhaps not as
fun as a manual, but in this car an automatic
is fine with me. If it were a 3 series a manual
would be a "must have" in my book.
: : If I remember well, it was more like 200, certainly not 600. They were late '95 models and looked exactly like the last US 1993 M5. They were offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic.
: i didn't want to say before, but i was thinking they made 200 6 speeds and 7 autos, but don't quote me on that
