I have the mud flaps installed on my e39. I ordered from bavarian Autosport and saved a few bucks off the dealer price. THey were a little more difficult than i expected to install, but overall, the look is very nice, they integrate well into the wheel well and don't have a "add-on" look. They appear to do the job(protect the rear quarter panel) fine. i recommend it

: Hi all,

: I picked up my Euro Delivery 98 528i from the local dealer yesterday exactly five weeks after drop-off in Munich. I appreciate the ride even more, now that I've driven it on familiar streets and roads.

: I'll by ordering a CD changer from Quality Imports soon, but I'm trying to decide about other accessories, including the mud flaps. Does anyone have the mud flaps on their E39? Do they work? Do they detract from the car's appearance?

: Thanks,

: John B
