I bought the car from a Lexus dealership. The
sales manager there used to be the sales manager
at the BMW dealership down the street. He sold
this car to it's original owner. Then he sold the
car to it's second owner. I think he knew what
he had, though I am at a bit of a loss as to
why it was sold so cheap. I do know one of the
other salesmen at the Lexus dealership so I think
that helped some. Anyway, once I saw the car on
the lot, I knew I had to have it. You guys are
making me feel very good about the purchase!

One other question though. Several folks have
refered to this car as the sport. My understand-
ing is that the 6-speed is the sport model. Is
that true, or is any model that has the M package
considered a sport regardless of whether it is a
manual or an automatic?

I lied. One more question. When I get new brake
pads for thsi car, what do I say I have? The
front rotors are larger than the standard 540
rotors but smaller than an M5s, right? What about
the rears?

Thanks,
Arthur
: Sounds like the dealer didn't know what he had. Those cars with around 50K miles are going for mid-$30K's currently.

: 200 were supposed to be brought over in mid to late 1995: 135 in 6-spd and the rest in slush-box.

: Now all you need is to upgrade the brakes and you'll be that much closer to the Euro M5.
