I have added the following
I had a custom box made that was extremely shallow to allow most possible usable trunk space. I added a Rockford 120w amp and 2 Rockford 10" subs. All this was wired directly to the outputs of the rear amps thru optical isolators.
This allowed me to use speaker level inputs without screwing up the factory amps. The subs are wired to the rear deck speakers. I have a tunable crossover set to 90 hz (highest it would go). Sound improvement is incredible.
