Speaker level input means not pre-out inputs like normally what amp requires for better natural sound production outputs ??

So all modifications are done only at the rear...no re-wiring from the front ? Is the connection done via the 'area' the cd changer resides ? MInd have a cd changer..but us there an amp ? or is it optional ?

I would like to upgrade.. help me out..
