Most car sales people know nothing about cars. Its even rare when they know more than just a smattering about the ones they're selling. Therefore, I doubt your E39 will impress them.

Why? you might ask, well, my cousin works at GM so his sister (my other cousin) can get good discount as a family member (he's at Michigan and we're all here in L.A.).
