: : Hi

: : This Redline Water Wetter is supposed to lower
: : coolant temperatures by some 20 F, has anyone tried it in their Bimmer ?

: i put a bottle in my M roadster and have seen no changes in the temp needle (still points straight up)...but i have heard it does help

BMW wants the engine to run at a certain temperature for emissions reasons. Under most road conditions I doubt the water wetter is neccessary. If you could messure flow rate in the cooling system, you would know if it the water wetter was doing anything though.
