Ken,
Did you have to do any electrical work? If not, sounds like the job was straight forward, and all PnP. Cool. I want one.

: Guys,
: I installed my BL/SS L3 w/ ERK and my xenons headlight this weekend.
: The BL/SS installation was fairly easy, thanks to Ben Liaw's clear instructions. Note, there's no need to take the alumnium carrier out on our cars. You can fit the ERK with the carrier on. Spent 1.5 hours on installation.
: The factory BMW xenon headlights is fully PnP. The old plugs go right in to the new units. I spent 2 hours because I didn't have the right tools handy and I forgot to put the bulbs into the new headlights before hand. Installation should take about 30 minutes otherwise.
: Intial impression on the BL/SS is it's super short, noticeabley stiffer and notchier. I'm hoping the stiffiness and notchiness will go away once the shifter is broken in.
: Intial impression on the xenons is they're brighter, more white, a little blueish and way to cool looking for the cars coming from opposite directions at night.
: Okay, so much for now. Hmm, what's next?
: Later,
: Kenneth Lee
