Guys
check the archives and you'll see we've fixxed this. I installed 2 8" fosgate subs in the trunk, powered by a 60X2 rockford amp. used line level inputs tapped from rear speakers thru a rockford x-over. Very easy, not to expensive
awesome difference. Your'e on the right track. adds subs before you do anything else

: The stereo on my E39 sounds really okay. Specially the mid-s and highs.
: However it lacks deep and true bass. While this can be compensated with the EQ its not enough.
: Has anyone added a powered sub on the E39.
: Is there a line out from the original stereo where I can get stereo signal? or do I have to use the speaker signal to the subs on the rear deck?
: PLease advise
