I just finished self installing the CD changer.

For those interested this is a 5 minutes job, mostly unpacking the CD changer.

THE ONLY PARTS NEEDED are the (2) Bushing and (2) Screws!

NO BRACKETs NOR INSTALLATION KIT!!!!!!!!!! IGNOR the parts guy if he insist!

ALL the Brackets are there. READY for mounting

I have digital pic's for anyone interested.

Instructions:

1. Unpack he CD changer
2. Remove the shipping screws and Follow instruction on covering the holes with the stickers
3. Switch the "orientation" to vertical (per instructions)
4. Screw the bushings to the Rear mounting holes
5. Plug in the POWER, and Audio Cables (also the DIG ifyou have DSP) 2 or three cables
6. Mount the bushing to the bracket and THEN screw the other two (front) tight

THaT IS IT!! SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE!

It took me over an hour trying to find HOW the installation kit and bracket mounted UNTIL I figured out that I did not need them!

I hope this HELP someone who wants to install a CD changer in a NAV equipped vehicle!

John
