: Personally, I am very satisfied with the way the DSP system sounds. On most music I leave it on Concert Hall. But on some music the echoing is too exaggerated so I use the custom memory setting or simply turn it off, although you'd lose the EQ functionality with it off. The bass response to me is adequate, although I'd love to add a subwoofer to it, but I just don't like the idea of tapping in to get a speaker level output to drive an amp. If there was a way to get a line level out I would have done it already.
I'm in the middle of adding a subwoofer to my system, and I discovered a way to get a line level output from the amp. You have to open up the amp and tap the signals coming from the subwoofer D/A's (separate left/right). The results that I achieved were terrific.
I'll post some pictures soon. Meanwhile, dig through the archive from a couple of weeks back. I posted some pretty detailed info about the amp.
