Finally upgraded my E39 premium sound! (archive)

My quest for better sound started innocently enough when I noticed that the bass in my car was rather weak, despite the fact that I had paid BMW a hefty sum for their "premium" audio system. In addition, stereo imaging was poor and unbefitting of a car widely regarded as the "ultimate luxury sport sedan". I started poking around the web to see what others had done to improve their system, and not suprisingly, found a dearth of information.

I put together a simple web page describing what I did!
