Thanks... I'll try to post more detailed box info on my site in the next few days. My CAD drawing
is fairly rough, and I did lots of improvising :-) once I got underway.

Generally, the idea: take the battery compartment cover out. You should make the back of the box match the back side of this cover. The front comes all the way out to the hinge to maximize box volume, but doesn't hinder access the spare tire.

A very important key: use LOTS of glue and sealant. A sealed box needs to be SEALED to sound good.

Also, thanks to many who provided advice on this project. On this board, Bob Hazelwood (formerly with a/d/s/) was really great and piqued my interest in upgrading in the first place!
